I wonder if Coach Boeheim could be convinced to take a 2 game swing in Nov or Dec to play at Spokane (Seattle) and Boise? I enjoy different matchups. I would expect we could get a 2 for 1 with Boise. The Zags would be a 1 for 1 in Seattle...Spokane...hmm not sure.

I doubt as the SU AD office would be losing money with the loss of home gates. With 2 of Gtown, St. John's, Nova going to be non-conference games I doubt JB will want even more tough OOC games. Especially with the ACC being the best conference. I could see SU offering Boise State a real high guarantee to play in the Dome. I doubt we will play Gonzaga outside of the Holiday tournaments or in the NCAA tournament. I thought when we were going to play in the Maui Invitational 2 years ago we would play a game on the West Coast with USC or somebody, but we didn't.

I wouldn't do it. I want to see them continue using the home and away matchups that are scheduled against real opponents to be scheduled against eastern schools, especially teams in NYC, Philly and DC. They make good matchups and give the fan base outside of Syracuse the best chance to get to see games. Put Nova, St. Johns, Gtown, Maryland, Temple and even UConn on the schedule on a rotating basis. Even add GWU, LaSalle, St. Josephs, Seton Hall from time to time.

While Gonzaga would be a great matchup, playing in Spokane adds a road game that very little of our fan base would be able to attend. Playing at Boise even in a 2 for 1 scenario would be terrible. We gain little by bringing them to the Dome as an opponent (not a particularly attractive hoops matchup - kind of like a Cleveland State) and playing them in Montana would be a difficult trip and wouldn't serve any of the fan base.

I highly doubt it would ever happen, wouldn't mind trying to get a game with the zags at msg.

Montana.

Wyoming home and home. Then, after we play them in the Dome, we buy out the road game.

Hey now. My mom is a Wyoming native and grad. Let's not do that to her school again. I'd hate to have to explain that one again :)

I will tell your right now Boise is a sneaky cool town. Kinda like a smaller, more western version of Denver.
