Two things about Maui..

1. I'm amazed at all the people that actually make it to the games. 12:30 and 2 pm local starts, I'm not sure I could bring myself to actually go to the game, even if it was the reason that brought me out there. Good showing of orange.

2. Small gym like that gives so many close up of the fans. There was a whole section of Cal fans that I found myself hating more each time they showed them. So glad they lost. hippies.

Have to admit, as soon as the bracket with those game times came out, I had a slightly little less regret about not making the trip. Those times pretty much wreck the day as far as getting it together to do anything substantial outdoors. Having been to Maui once before, you don't really want to be wasting your day in a gym, even if it is SU basketball. If we're back there in 4 years, the plan would be taking however long a trip you want - and adding 3 days to account for the basketball. Maui by night looks like any other beach at night. Maui by day - definitely paradise.

You need to stay out there for a few weeks like CTO and Barb B are doing it. You don't mind spending dome afternoons in the gym. Of course, you need the vaca time and a few bucks.
