Ken Womack might run all over McNabbs rushing yardage and I see Culpepper shattering the passing numbers Yeah I know its early but thats what I see happening. If Womack can do both he probably could win the Heisman as long as the team is winning. That seems to be a key factor Either way I think the QB position is in good hands shortly. In 2016 there will be depth in quality as well as the starter.

Wait, I thought #44 was going to win the Heisman.

I heard similar comments about that Eduard hid, too. How'd that work out?

Ahhhh, the 2 QB offense. One becomes a heisman candidate while the other shatters passing records. We will be a DC's nightmare!

There's actually a team in Texas running a new system that looks like that. It looks like the muddle for 2 Pt conversions. 2 QB's and pods of 3 positioned down the line of scrimmage. I've yet to see film, but, I've heard a couple coaches discussing it.

It'll be interesting to see if it gains any traction.

I never said that but RW has the right stuff if the OL does its job well I've read several posters here pushing Womack hor the Heisman. I think thats premature as well.

Its not likely tho be a two QB QB system If you try harder under stand the talents of these two WBs thn trying to prove me wrong you might have made a good point.

Finwad: Your avatar is really cool and creepy too. Is that your dog? And I guess that's some photoshop magic? I had a schnauzer as a kid.

Who was the last Heisman winner to play for a mediocre team?

Not my dog, but, no photoshop either. We have a Jack and it does the same thing, will stand there and size you up, lol.

Screw that! I'm going to win the Heisman...as a fan!

It only lasted in it's original configuration for a year or two before rules were changed. Originally all the players on the field on offense wore eligible numbers. At the last minute the teams would see who was being covered and shift to make the uncovered players eligible to go downfield for a pass. They got around the rule that said 5 players must be numbered 50-79, by having the player receiving the snap 7 yards deep. Therefore the special team rule (ie. field goals and punts) came into play allowing all players to have eligible numbers.

It was actually similar to what the Patriots did in the playoffs. So all of the people saying Bill Belichick was some sort of genius, he really borrowed/stole the idea from a high school coach out west!

Early??? They don't even have a single D1 practice under their belt. I'm so tired of people claiming these incoming freshman will all be Heisman winner's and destroy the record books. 2016 huh? If we are staring a RS Frosh at QB in 2016, that's not quality or depth. We don't recruit the kinds of kids who can come in here and play right away. It's ridiculous to even think so. It's this line of thinking that causes people to write off guys like Wilson and Long prematurely. Incoming and RS frosh are not going to lead us to an ACC championship. We need to develop player's minds and bodies in order to compete. That's the reality of our program. We are not Bama, Oregon, or Notre Dame and most likely never will be.
