Syracuse freshman Tyler Ennis joins Orange senior C.J. Fair on Wooden Award watch list

Sorry, but if two guys from the same team are on there (CJ and Tyler, Parker and Hood, etc) then they should be out of the running instantly. If the argument could be made that they are not the best/most important on their own team, then by definition, they should not win the Wooden Award.

Or they're both that good...

Usually the best teams get a couple guys on there. How many does AZ have?

Great publicity. Between MCW going for ROY and Tyler Ennis on this list hopefully it helps with Tyus Battle.

Only by some cockamamie definition.

Don't need to worry about that anyway because McDermott is going to win it easily.

That is some pretty interesting logic, not easily dismissed. Being it is the Wooden award, I'd like to hear the expert analysis of one Bill Walton.

Whether or not any of our players win it, I'd love to have as many on that list as possible.

I would take Ennis over every player in the country. If you don't think he's that good then tell me who you would trade him for. I bet very few guys would make that list.

For what we need, I would agree with you. As complete a basketball player as anyone out there, I don't think so. I'd have to go with McDermott for that, even though I'm not sure I'd trade him for Ennis for our purposes. But that would be a very hard choice to make.

W/O Ennis it's silent G at the point do your trade + McDermott less TE we probably have 5 losses
