Even while realizing this is a highlight video Tyler is very impressive in that he finishes and often does so in spite of contact being made by the defense. Once the contact is initiated by the defense Tyler seemingly utilizes that as the indicator of how he is going to modify his shot or body position as he continues to take it to the basket. As a result, and as you can clearly see in the video, it makes for an amazing variety of shots all with the same common outcome, 2 Points. He's got the full array, the lay-up, the scoop shot from down low, the kiss off the backboard, the high arching floater, the spot up deuce, the spot up trey, and perhaps the most enjoyable, "where did that guy in front of me go?" blow-by to the tin for the uncontested easy lay-up.
If you took all the best attributes of the point guards we've had and programed them into a kid with a rattle proof temperament I think you'd have a pretty good description of Tyler Ennis. He is going to be a joy to watch.
