What is going on over there on the left coast??? We should never be able to complain again about "only" getting 15,000 people for a game against Binghamton.

Their average attendance this year in 10 home games is 6,923. Capacity at Pauley Pavilion is 13,800, so they are averaging only about 50% of capacity. They also just spent $136 million in 2012 to renovate the place. Plenty of empty seats tonight to, against the freaking number 1 team in the country.

Maybe they know they are not playing the real #1.

Nothing really new. They've never drawn well. Oh by the way, there are only eighty zillion people in So Cal.

Their ticket prices are rather steep. (yes, some of ours are as well)
But huge difference playing in a pro town vs. a place like Syracuse too.
Until the Wooden-type dominance returns, middling crowds there will be the norm.

And one more thing- this is a 6pm start in LA. Even if you leave work at 5, try getting anywhere in LA at rush hour in 1 hour. Westwood isn't exactly centrally located either.
