UCLA blows 17 point lead, Cronin blames fans and players

Don't see too much of a problem with what he said. Had some sarcasm with the "bad coaching", but you know what he's saying. Obviously disappointed that the players were told what to look for, but appeared not to be ready for the moves. Showed people how leads can be lost with selfish play. Lapses cause losses.

All those points, to me, are bad coaching. Own it (Cronin, not you).

And once you start blaming fans for a loss, you are getting dangerously close to Hurley territory...

Nothing wrong with what he said. I don’t have any idea what he sounded like when he said it, though. Not getting into personalities or history, his looks or height or resemblance to mythical creatures…. But, he called out what needed to be called out. He sarcastically said his team hadn’t been coached to do certain things when he meant they had been. The stuff with the home crowd groaning after missed FTs… sure, get that corrected. How else do you address that?

I like that he specifically noted specific issues, and didn’t just spew a bunch of platitudes, generalities, and vague nonsense and clichés. If we keep saying here that accountability should be a priority, isn't this that?
