What? What happened to powder blue? And that black sash looks like trusses. And btw if you go to Allied LaForce for commentary can we please see her?

Alford is on fire.

Although that was a pretty blatant discard before his last three.

8 of 10 on threes. Wow.

Well played, SMU! Pass it to UCLA!

Uh, that was a bizarre ending to a basketball game.

I hate Alford. Ugh.

No goaltend - but I'm not sure. It looks like it hit rim, and then he hit off the rim.

I can't believe they called that goaltend. UCLA played well enough to win and SMU threw the ball away at the end. However you can't call that just brutal. That ball wasn't going in and looked wide right.

How can you guys say it wasn't a goaltend? The ball was A) headed downward, B) in the cylinder and C) touched by an SMU player will it was in the cylinder. You can't say not to make the call just because it's at the end of the game. It was clearly a goaltend. Oh, and no, I didn't want UCLA to win. In fact, I don't think they should even be in the tourney.

I don't think he touched it while it was in the cylinder though.

It definitely wasn't in the cylinder. It could have grazed the rim but it wasn't in the cylinder. Seeing it live their is no way you can make that call.

The cylinder goes straight up and down. The one angle they refuse to show has it going wide right. Not even close. Bad call. Alford looks like a hero on a shot that had no shot of going on.

The overhead shot shows it was in the cylinder. I'm watching online and they showed that shot a couple times.

I think it was in the cylinder, but its one of those situations where its too close to tell, so you can't make that decision if you're the SMU player. Bryce was on fire today and Powell attacked the rim well. Haven't seen UAB this year but I think UCLA has a great shot to make it to Houston next week.
