Don't worry he'll be cleared. When's the last time they had someone ineligible - they have there sneaky ways with Calhoun and company.

If not his academics, his age, someone taking the ACT or SAT for him...then it comes down to some form or payment or agent taking care of him or his family.
This is probably going to come up bad...and I feel sorry if it does...not for Uconn but for the kid

UConn is laughable at this point. So many violations, the skeevy "giving up of a scholarship" in order to be able to have Drummond on the team. Calhoun really must want that USC of the East title from Rutgers.

There could be an entire slew of reasons that he is temporarily ineligible ... from lousy paperwork to he played some games illegally (ala Tim Abromaitis). The greater concern for UConn is permanent ineligibility ... now that would be serious. But at this point only the NCAA and UConn Admin know for sure.

Looks like he might miss some games which would hurt UConn big time in the depth department. Apparently, he is Napier's only backup so we may see a walk-on getting some minutes for the Huskies.

Its interesting that you guys can rip on Uconn so much seeing that you have had worse sanctions (under Boeheim) for cheating than Uconn has ever had.
