You speak authoritatively and you refuse to prove any points you feebly attempt to make.  Since you have authoritatively argued that SU-UConn hoops "has nothing to do with this", you have the duty to PROVE your point.  Who is your source?  When were you involved in the discussion between the two schools?  Who else was negotiating with you?

Anyway, hate the games all you want, no one has an issue with you hating UCan't.  Most us do not care about them either.
