Looks like Susan Herbst will be gone next summer. The Huskies' Assistant AD Beth Goetz also is bailing (leaving?). The Connecticut state budget is trending towards even more austerity making the subsidies to the Athletic Department ever more unsustainable. President Herbst did a good job moving UCONN up the ladder in terms of academics, and she was also a reasonably successful fundraiser from what I've read, but the "good times" might be running out. UCONN's P5 dreams might be running out also. A Syracuse guy, Randy Edsall, might be all that stands between the B1G/ACC and the CAA.
