UI issue impacting iPhones using Chrome starting on September 18th

Something has changed today that impacts the website’s user interface when using Chrome on an iPhone. It does not happen on my iPad.

First: Chrome in portrait mode. Notice the lack of use of the right portion of the screen.

Next: Chrome in landscape mode. All is well.

Last: Safari in portrait mode. All is fine.

I wonder if anyone else has encountered this.
Odd...
