(longtime lurker here) I've been interacting with quite a few UK fans lately. Self-entitled, arrogant, classless are words that come to mind. I respect the hell out of their history but their fan base just ruins it for me.

I'll add to this discussion that I'm sick and tired of seeing Ashley Judd on TV at the Kentucky games. She's turning into the Spike Lee of Rupp Arena.

UK fans are rabid and over-the-top. I grew up in Indiana, and the best policy with UK fans is to ignore them. UK basketball is all most of them have. They bet on horses and UK hoops and drink moonshine.

Yeah, it's funny how lots of winning erases racism. Sports has a SICK way of eliciting our basest of human qualities...

Fortunately, Syracuse was at the forefront of racial relations. It's one the qualities of this school that should make us all PROUD TO BE ORANGE !!!

ashley's truly adorable but don't make the same mistake i did and get suckered into a blind double date with her "twin" sister. big red broke three of my ribs before i managed to escape from under her.

On the other hand, Sports, like entertainment, is an important force in eliminating racism. Hard to grow up idolizing black sports 'heros' and then calling them nigger.
