Epic post on the UL Board. We were very fortuate that Siva didn't see Kuric camping out. CJ got sucked in on the dribble drive. A drive and dish to Kuric would've been a uncontested three. Card fans (in hindsight) said Rick needed to call a timeout with about 15 secs to go. So happy to win that game...would hate to lose again with Kuric beating us.

that was the best part seeing an epic fail from Kuric after last years annointing... think I said Kuric at least 10 times (or however many shots he missed!) Man I hope we make New Orleans...

Siva gets out of control a lot. It seems like he gets an idea in his head and when he's going full bore and the scenario turns out differently, he panics. For example, there was a possession earlier in the 2nd half when he pushed the ball up the court, drove in deep and had no where to go and he just whipped the ball way back into the backcourt (while falling down) where BT scooped it up leading to a layup. He looked phenomenal early in the game when we were getting sucked into his drives and there were open guys to dish to or we let him go all the way. When we started sagging on his drives, he didn't know what to do. This adjustment had as much to do with shutting down UL on offense as Siva getting his 3rd foul.

UL is very fortuanate we had atleast 2 trey balls hit insdie of the rim 3-4 times and rim out.

Wouda coulda shoulda. UL is lucky we shot 1-29 outside the paint. And it wasn't their d that forced it. Time to move on.

Sucks for Siva being under a telescope all the time.

All I noow is that Siva's jump stop is a travel if I've ever seen one. Then he pivits off of it and travells some more.

Siva's big fault lies in fouling as casually as he did. Whatever anyone's perception of the kid is, he outscored your whole team for a while, all by himself. It's been a long term problem and he really and truly kicked his own ass with his 3rd. How weird is it when someone does not recognize his own value? By taking himself out of the game, you were allowed to come back because he was essentially the only offense we had. And it was good offense, not lucky or weird - what he did worked and it works against many teams. Sure, he's out of control now and then - but he cost himself some needed momentum by leaving that ball game.

And they called travel on Dion for doing the same thing.
