I went to a game there last night with my son, who has nearly courtside seats. It is a nice place without a bad seat in the house. Of course it holds a tenth of the number that can fill the dome. UNCA has a guard that is very good and a few other players with potential. I would love to have about 5 minutes to coach their 7-ft freshman back-up center. He was being face guarded and was able to establish himself about 6 feet from the hoop with nobody behind him. All he needed to do was raise one arm to call for the ball and drop back a step for an easy catch and dunk. He never called for the ball. Of course, he needed to make eye contact with the guard first, and sometimes they ignore freshman, but I was rather irritated by it.

North Carolina is in the midwest?

No, and neither am I. I am visiting my son in Asheville, and I no longer live in the midwest after moving back to NYS three years ago.
Welcome back to the EastCoast
