Preferably, i’d like to see them target a portal QB that has performed at an extremely well for a couple years at a lower level instead of 2nd or 3rd year SEC wash outs. We need portal QB’s we’ve seen perform. Even Steve showed he could perform in a high stakes game and was beat out in a 1 v 1 battle against a very good QB.

How will Fran ever recover! Well he will have Angeli back and 5 star calvin Russell. If the recruits and portal fall off then yea I say let’s lose our crap. Until then this is just another crappy game in a crappy year after QB1 went down and the team quit.

There’s a huge difference between losing and incompetency. It’s not the fact that we lost, it’s how we lost. It’s who we lost to. It’s everything. It will be played all over that Belichick got his first ACC win. His first P4 win. The most points they’ve had against an FBS opponent. The least amount of yards against UNC all season. The fact we completed 4 passes. And so on….

The last 5 games we have averaged 267 yards in offense. In 2005, we averaged 257 yards for the season. This is bad. Very, very bad. You can’t have 1 player (albeit at the most important position) get injured and look like you have no idea how to manage anything.

If you are a player either on the current team, an incoming recruit or a potential transfer, doesn’t it give you a little pause if the entire team looks incompetent once the starting QB gets injured? I know I’d be concerned if the same thing were to happen next year. We’re not even a crappy car held together with duct tape. We’re a fiery wreck sitting on the side of the road.
