When your 5 year old starts humming the McDonald's song, that's a brand.  When your 10 year old hears the word Arby's and shouts "we have the meats!!", that's a brand.

When the average fan hears Syracuse is playing, what do they say??  That we are awful and who cares what they are wearing, change the channel to another game.

Even when we get good, regardless of what we wear, that will be our "Brand" for a while until we win consistently.  Then the casual CFB fan might give 2 flyin 's about what we wear.
