One thing that impressed me during the Stanford game was how after starting slow on both sides of the ball and the game nearly getting away from them SU adjusted and came back nearly getting the W. In the first half of that game SU had something like 70 yards of total offense and McCord had been sacked 4 times when McCord hit Hatcher for the 67 yard TD completion with 0:28 on the clock. I believe McCord was never sacked in the second half. The defense which early in the first quarter looked a bit passive also adjusted and kept SU in the game during the remainder of the first half. There was no quit, and I thought SU showed a fighting spirit and grit. I watched the SU game against Stanford on TV, but I was at the dome for the GT game. I was surprised by GT's size live which was not as impressive as I expected. Then watching Stanford on TV I was surprised because they looked bigger and played much more physical than GT. I don't expect UNLV to be that physical. Their QB can run perhaps more effectively than GT's QB, and Haynes King hurt SU with two TD runs. It will be a challenge, and SU will need to play a full 60 minutes. Get after it from the start. Based on what I've seen so far I expect SU to roll with the punches and put themselves in a position to get the W in Vegas. Go Cuse!!
