According to Mike Waters article on JJ's final Dome game, only 3 players in the ACC will have spent their entire career at one school. The old program basis of player recruitment and development has been pretty much replaced with an extreme Calipari-esque one and done, yearly team creation. Recruit a few freshmen and work the portal, hope you got it right and if not, try again next year.

Looks like overall less than 25 in major conferences.

The SEC has one, at least according to an Instagram story I saw the other day.

It is amazing some people still care about college sports.

At first glance it's unreal, but after thinking about it, I'm not surprised. Can I get paid more somewhere else? Leave. Not playing as much as I think I should? Leave. Can I test myself and develop my game by going to a bigger program? Leave. Do I want to accept a smaller role at a better school to experience more team success? Leave. Coach plays me differently than I want to? Leave. Coach gives me a look I don't like? Leave. Coaches pushes a guy out? Gotta find a landing spot.

There are good reasons for guys to find a new home, and a lot of these guys are taking advantage of the freedom to benefit themselves. Unfortunately, there are also wrong reasons to leave, and there are also a lot of guys hurting themselves when they leave for those reasons.
