I don't think they ranked post grads. I think if they combined the two Patterson would surely be top 100.

Are the rankings supposed to be projections of where players end up or are they where things stand at the current point in time?

With how young he is compared to many in his class, I am guessing that the 100 - 150 range is correct right now, though he has a ton of upside and could end up much higher if anyone is ever to do a look back.

He is 90 scout hoops, 102 espn, top 50 max preps. I stop trying to figure it out because apparently they are not that consistent in making there rankings. Just keep ballin youngin and the rest will take care of itself.

It's a measurement mostly of who a certain group of writers see on the summer AAU circuit, when you get down to it.

The last player named Johnson we had that was a bit too skinny as a frosh wasn't even ranked and he was a fairly serviceable player.

Like I said in another thread, rankings are just for fun to debate and talk about, but at the end of the day it's all BS and politics. Like OGBJ said, the play will do the talking for all of the players moving forward.
