Wow, I live in Auburn and am on Owasco Lake quite a bit during the summer. What a shame.

"Sherlach, 56, was school psychologist at Sandy Hook Elementary School and was one year away from retirement, according to local US reports.

She and her husband Bill were looking forward to spending more time on Owasco Lake during her retirement."

What a great retirement gift. That bastard has ruined so many things... Why couldn't he just take himself out? Killing completely innocent people 11 days before Christmas... .

I student-teach at Vestal. I read about it is in the Press & Sun and then they made an announcement about it on the loudspeaker this morning. It really makes this tragedy hit close to home.
