USA Today Re-Ranks Football Teams 1-125: Cuse Up 12 Spots, but Tulane WAY Above SU

Remember that Tulane team that SU blew out 52-17?

Well the USA Today has them re-ranked at #45 (up 27 spots from preseason ranking) while Syracuse is ranked only #74 (up 12 spots from preseason)

None of this means anything, but I found it funny that the Green Wave are ranked so high and SU is being punished for losing to #3, #33 (on the road), and #40( at a neutral site).

USA Today also laughably still has the ACC as the 5th rated conference. While the SEC and Pac-12 are better the ACC is no worse than 3rd this year and the USA Today wants to apply previous years stigmas into their ratings. Tulane improved and may squeeze into a bowl because of their schedule but Syracuse belongs above them after routing them badly.
