So true Jim. The fans around us said if they had Ryan and we had BJ Daniels, they would have won by a good margin. They said he's a great runner but not a great QB - I was actually surprised how harsh they were considering his numbers against us. I bought the Tampa Tribune on Sunday and I thought I'd share some of what they said (hoping I'm not repeating anyone else).

Whitehurst said he gained great respect for Syracuse coach Marrone when calling to deliver his decision. He was excited and happy for me. He said he thought I was going to Rutgers and he didn't want me to go to Rutgers. He said that USF was a great decision but asked if I was sure that's what I wanted to do. I said it was and that was pretty much it. "
