Mike may or may not be a good or great head coach but he sure doesn't belong in the same sentence with Barry Rohrssen. No one ever said that Barry was a good coach. Recruiter, different story. But given his leaving St John's, you have to wonder about those skills.

USF's program is under NCAA investigation (there were rumors at Kentucky but many dismissed it as jealousy) , his brother, Oliver, an assistant was let go as a result. Also their leading scorer sophomore McMurray asked for a transfer during the season, just before Christmas.

I would say that what he learned under Cal wouldn't exactly be portable to programs that don't start with K.

Wasn't this guy an ace recruiter at Pitt and then for Cal at UK? Of course anyone can be an ace recruiter for Cal at UK when you're toting suitcases of large umarked bills.
