I think I felt worse right after. I'm actually encouraged by our offense - that's a pretty good defense.

The amount of missed TFL is way high. Some of it is Mack and Flowers being really fast and shifty - but loads of missed tackles that we got in previous games.

In a lot of ways, I think it was just the perfect storm. Credit the team for coming back the way they did, only to have it turn again.

Saturday we'll find out if I'm right, or if it's just going to keep pouring rain.

Our OL getting blown off the line and the team speed of USF is what jumps out at me on the second watch. One other observation is that USF relied on a lot of misdirection and outside running while almost every running play of ours was between the tackles.

First time I have gotten to see the whole game. Mack and Flowers killed us almost all day. The missed tackles by our D was just pitiful at times. They make a lot of those on the QB and others, should be a different game. Fredericks, like others have said, needs to start. This is a no-brainer, head and shoulders better than what's ahead of him. Agree about throwing more in the 1st half. The 2nd down play calling by Lester still concerns me at times. I just don't get some of those. Also don't get how our DC cannot use the same game plan that Memphis used just a week ago to stop USF.

The 3rd and 14 play where we had USF pinned at the beginning of the 4th quarter and Bennett misses the tackle was HUGE too. Make that play and get the ball back with a lot of momentum.

There were quite a few of those "missed tackle here" "bad penalty there" along with some great running by Mack. On re-watch I got the feeling that we were closer than it felt at the time.

Missed tackles a concern in this game AND where was the gang tackling we saw in the LSU game, especially against a QB that could not throw well.

The offense was better than I remember but we we just couldn't get a stop on defense. Dungey started out rusty but connected well with Ishmael on several occasions. Whitner's muff & late hit were killers. I love the kid but those cost us 10 points and momentum. It seemed like they played with a couple of extra blockers all game. We missed so many tackles...
