Our national team players get these paychecks from MLS clubs and instead of challenging themselves play here. Jordan Morris has potential to be a lot better for the national team. He took the Seattle money and it’s not his fault he got hurt but before he got hurt he wasn’t developing into a Dempsey like talent which he could have if he went overseas.
The technical coaching and skills learned overseas are miles better than in the MLS.
It’s like the NBA our coaches like Hubie Brown and PJ Carlesimo in the 1980s and 1990s went overseas and taught clinics and developed coaches for basketball.

The coaches in MLS are not even close to those of Europe. That is just the truth. It’s why I wasn’t a fan of hiring Berhalter.
