Ive posted this before and It's been discussed quite a bit here. He's a Northeast guy who, at the very least, had a cup of coffee at Cuse. He's familiar with the program's history, particularly in the 90s, as he was referencing them on the broadcast last night. That's not really important, but at least he knows what Cuse can possibly be and he doesn't think it's a complete dumpster fire.

What's most important, in my opinion, is that he's a strong recruiter and an even better head coach and offensive mind.  A lot of people like to reference Florida, I would rather look at how he did at Mississippi St., which is a more comparable program than Florida at least. MSU was considered one of those most difficult places to have success in the SEC and he killed it there. He had 1 losing season in 9 years and that was his first season. Took them to 8 straight bowls. MSU was dog  poo for like 50 years with a couple nice seasons and he turned them into a perennial bowl team.

I don’t look at him as a golden god haha, I just think he would fit perfectly and he is still young. I don’t want some up and coming MAC or FCS coach.
