Lindsay McCabe is First Team Academic All-District for her academic and athletic prowess at Syracuse
GREENWOOD, Ind. - Due to her achievement on the court and in the classroom, Lindsay McCabe is named to CoSIDA's Capital One Academic All-District team. McCabe finished her undergraduate degree last semester Summa Cum Laude as a Biology major with a minor in Mathematics. Prior to graduation she was awarded the Senior Biology Outstanding Achievement Award by the University she maintained Athletic Director's Honor Roll and Dean's List all four years in which she attended.
The Georgetown, Ontario native was recognized year in and year out in the ACC and BIG EAST conferences as well, earning All-ACC honors a season ago and All-BIG EAST honors in 2010-11 and 2011-12.
On the court, McCabe is one of the University's finest to put on a 'Cuse volleyball uniform. As a middle blocker, McCabe is Syracuse's all-time leader in block assists with 488 and ranks second in blocks per set (1.23), third in total blocks (565), sixth in block solos (77) and is tied for the eighth most sets played by a member of the Orange with 461.
