Who makes the odds for betting purposes? Many sportsbooks do not have their own in-house bookmaker, and therefore, do not produce their own line. Instead, those sportsbooks partner with a line originator who creates, publishes and maintains a line for them. In the state of Nevada, the primary line originators are Boyd Gaming, Caesars Entertainment, CG Technology, Lucky's, MGM Resorts, South Point Casino, Stations, Stratosphere, William Hill and Wynn.

There are a few sportsbooks that produce their own independent line, such as Treasure Island, Peppermill, Westgate Superbook, and Jerry's Nugget. All other Nevada sportsbooks use a line from one of the Nevada line originators.

Westgate just released their 2019 NCAA Tournament Odds for making it to the Final Four and to win the Championship. Looks like we are relevant again. Syracuse is number 20 on the list with 12-1 odds of making it to "the Final Four," and 50-1 odds of winning the National Title. The usual suspects of Duke, Kentucky, and Kansas sit in the top three positions at 5-1 odds of winning it all for Duke and Kentucky, while Kansas is 6-1. All three are handicapped at 5-4 odds of making it to the Final Four.
