Cuse didn't call a timeout on offense because we were efficient getting plays in...
AND we didn't want them to change personnel before the TD game-winning play.
As a result, CUSE then had a timeout to use BEFORE Purdue's last play, identify their personnel.
Point being...what a change from last year regarding timeouts/clock management.

We also didn’t need to stop the clock. A lot of incompletions and penalties. We never got tackled in the field of play. You shouldn’t need to call a timeout to call a play. That’s the advantage of a competent play caller.

But what about not using timeouts on the last Purdue drive. We were lucky Purdue scored so quickly because they could have run out the clock on us.
