video proof that Trish shot out of hand at 1.7 seconds 1 second on shot clock

Trish? For really reals?

The ball was clearly still in his fingers. That said the foul call should have stood. He should have been at the line.

The hak is long before the shot clock expires. Its when the ball is low with 2.2 seconds left if you pause the video.

they called the foul on the second ashville player, not the first.

The second view really looks like he gets slapped on the arm by the first guy. wish they had a few other views to confirm it.

Pause at 18 seconds in the video with 1.9 on the shotclock that says it all right there.

doesn't 0 on the shot clock mean less than 1 second? as in .3 seconds or something? I thought it was a judgement call when the horn sounds, not when it says 0

Look at the YouTube video.
:28 seconds into the video...the foul is committed from behind as Triche is going up with the bal.
He has possession and shot clock has not expired.
At :29...look at the backboard.
Shot clock hits zero.
Ball is still on his fingertips.
Correct call seems as if it should have been: NO BASKET...TWO SHOT FOUL.

I can understand getting it wrong in real time.
But not if you're going back to look at the video.

Exactly. This is how I saw it when I watched the game and this is how I see it in this video of it.

And for the poster who says the ref called the foul on the second player, the replay clearly shows the ref's arm outstretched upward calling the foul on #2 while the second player is still in the process of coming over in an attempt to block the shot.

They missed the in-bounds play so they balance each other. And as been shown ad nauseum now, the lane violation was a lane violation.

Cheers,
Neil

I think we also can agree the goaltending no call probably made up for the goaltending call on Keita or Rak that appeared pretty obvious to me to be a clean block in the 2nd half.

I guess when the day produces as little drama as it did, the media needs to create drama for something to talk about.
