This popped up on You-Tube: color home movies of "Camera Day" at Dodgers' home games from 1960-62. That's the last two years in the LA Coliseum and the first year in brand new Dodger Stadium. I like the fact that it has angles you don't normally see on TV or in old newsreels, especially showing the baseball lay out of the Coliseum.

(5) Los Angeles Dodgers - Camera Day -1960 1961 1962 - YouTube

How many players do you recognize?

I decided to try to identify the players through Baseball Reference.com:
1960 Los Angeles Dodgers Uniform Numbers | Baseball-Reference.com
(click on the next page and the net for 1961 and 1962)

2 is Don Demeter in 1960 and Leo Durocher in 1961. Demeter is also #24 in a Phillie uniform in 1962. 3- Willie Davis 4- Duke Snider 5- Norm Larker 6-Carl Furillo in 1960 then Ron Fairly 7- Lee Walls 8 John Roseboro 9 Wally Moon 11- Larry Burright 12- Tommy Davis 14- Gil Hodges in 1961, Ken McMullen in 1962 16- Ron Perranoski 19- Jim Gilliam 20- Turk Ferrell in 1981, Daryl Spencer in 1962 22- Johnny Podres 25- Frank Howard 29- ?? 30- Maury Wills 32- Sandy Koufax 34- Norm Sherry 35 Doug Camilli 37- Ed Roebuck 38- Roger Craig in 1961, Joe Moeller in 1962, 41 Jim Golden, 51- Larry Sherry 53 Don Drysdale

It's interesting that Walter Alston was able to deal with a guy like Durocher on his staff. Leo had been a major leaguer on the 1927 Yankees and the Gashouse Gang Cardinals and managed the Dodgers and then the Giants while Alston was a career minor leaguer who had worked his way up through the farm system as a manager. It's testimony to the confidence Alston had in himself and in the Dodgers that his job was safe.
