Cuse d personnel and scheme  but  also note Cuse statistics such as # of opponent shots on goal per game as well as % of opp. shots  being on goal were  in line with all acc teams other than UVA who had lower #'s in both.  Respective save percentages however were  unc 52, duke 56, nd 57, uva 50 vs our 41%. Simple math shows that a ten percent increase in our save % would result in 31 less goals or 2.4 fewer goals allowed per game.  Understand that is too simple but watched plenty a game where  goalies were under fire from both close and afar . Defenses look alot better when goalie is making fair share of saveable saves  and alot worst when they aren't. Thought Thompson made some good saves and hope that he gets final audition.
