However, I checked out the roster a year or two ago and was simply overwhelmed by his comments/write-ups of the players in their bio/player page. They are so over-the-top that they're comical. I get it, recruiting is hard and retaining is harder with the transfer rules (which are terrible for all college sports, in my opinion) but man, these guys aren't curing cancer or achieving global peace. I get it, they're supremely talented lacrosse players. Wonderful, great. But man, you can praise them without going to the extremes he takes it.

Cool parent...who smokes peyote is an incredibly apt description for Lars' player write-ups! Thank you for the spot-on analysis and laugh. Again, he seems like a good guy, I'm sure he'd be awesome to talk lax with but yeah...

And I'm glad we're moving away from the "old school" coach who yells and screams, but there is also a limit at which you can praise a 22 year old redshirt sophomore simply because he rips corners from the box on the reg.
