Virginia Tech football player charged with murder found Not Guilty

Reddit is a mess to read but there is smoke here. We'll see how it shakes out.

Backstory.. a guy catfished him as a girl on a dating site. The catfisher setup a date with the player and then actually showed up and then some craziness transpired. Doesn’t excuse the situation which is a person died.. however had money been involved, that would have been a federally prosecutable offense by the catfisher. Very very weird story.

Might be some kind of self defense claim if the catfisher attempted to rob or assault the VT player. Definitely a weird story.

This is a very bizarre story. Have to wait for some more details.

"Ask and ye shall receive." This was just posted on our board.

Someone needs some anger management work while he spends the rest of his life in jail.

Waiting on gay community to address this hate crime.
Pride month Indeed.
The attorney Turk is the “go to” for Tech athletes in criminal justice system. Maybe the judge who granted bail has seasons.

VA just repealed the gay panic defense, so that will hopefully eliminate one the more disgusting defenses in the criminal justice system.

Wonder if Jimmy Tuck knows? Interesting that the Richmond paper struck his ridiculous statement from later editions

Justin Fuentes is MIA.
Did he sign off on the OTA for the players to show up in tech gear for the bail hearing?

Our board is saying the DA made a huge mistake by not including a lesser offense in the indictment. It was "all or nothing" on murder and the jury can't choose manslaughter, etc., instead.
