This is another reason the Big East leadership was a joke and looked out for the Providence College's of the world. I get conference split into 2 divisions during this time, but the fact one of the top three basketball brands in the Big East Syracuse NEVER played 1 game AT Virginia Tech over 4 years is mind boggling. However during this time frame Providence hosted Syracuse during 2001-2002 season,  DID not play 2002-2003 season, 2003-2004 season. While Syracuse hosted Virginia Tech during the 2001-2002 season, DID not play 2002-2003 season and  hosted them VPI during the 2003-2004 season. I wonder why this crap happened? This is why I am glad we are no longer affiliated with Catholic Basketball schools, and they took advantage of the better basketball brands while football schools were afterthoughts. I actually feel bad that we never played at Virginia Tech one time while they were in the Big East. This game tonight won't be easy because we have never played in Cassel Coliseum before under Jim Boeheim.
