Tuesday 3/4/25 vs SMU:

FG 26 -56 48.1%/ 3PT 40.9%/ FT - 73.7% // LOST 75 -77 Percentages were much better than tonight!

Saturday vs VA:

The problem is again FT shooting. We have to make them or we will lose. We have to play like we did vs VA. If we did all season, we'd be going to the dance. It would be nice if both Lampkin, JJ, the starters could be in double figures, with the whole team scoring something off the bench vs SMU.

We are #78 out of #79 in major conferences in terms of KP defensive efficiency. We just moved up from #78, jumping Iowa who took our spot in last place (the Fran special). Our defensive efficiency has been better the last few games.

FT shooting, or hitting shots isn't what held us from making the tournament. It was defence and its not particularly close.

Even if we increased our FT shooting from current 71% to 84% (the best in the country) our KP rating would increase from its current #110 to about #87.
