Should the teams tie, they'd move onto the second tie-breaker which is conference wins. The Nittany Lions have the advantage in this category, entering the final two games with 9 conference wins. Syracuse (20 points) earns the No. 2 seed and accompanying first-round bye by picking up more points this weekend than Penn State gains in its series with Robert Morris. The teams would then all tie at 20 points, with the Orange owning the tiebreaker of record amongst tied teams (Syracuse 10 pts, RMU 8 pts, PSU 6 pts should this scenario take place). RIT – The Tigers earn the No. 5 seed by beating Syracuse twice and Lindenwood losing both games to Mercyhurst. The Lions lead RIT by three points in the standings and also hold the head-to-head tiebreaker. Remaining games: at Syracuse Friday, vs. Syracuse Saturday [B] No. 6 seed - [/B] RIT earns the No. 6 seed if it does not earn all four points this weekend and Lindenwood gets swept by Mercyhurst. Lindenwood earns the No. 6 seed by getting swept by Mercyhurst and RIT sweeping Syracuse.
