Despite out shooting Lindenwood 33-21, the Orange couldn't find the back of the net more than once and fell 2-1 on Saturday, splitting the weekend series.

After falling behind 2-0 after two periods, with the Lions scoring in each, freshman [URL='http://cuse.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11168'][U]Stephanie Grossi[/U][/URL] continued her hot stretch, scoring the Orange's lone goal with assists from [URL='http://cuse.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11153'][U]Kaillie Goodnough[/U][/URL] and [URL='http://cuse.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11155'][U]Julie Knerr[/U][/URL].
 
Lindenwood got its early lead from Shara Jasper less than five minutes into the game. Brooke Penden pushed the 'Cuse deficit to two less than one minute into the second period.

Grossi's goal upped her team and CHA rookie leading point total to 15.

The Orange moved to 3-2-3 in conference play with the loss.
