The Syracuse ice hockey team will look to stay unbeaten in conference play this weekend when the Orange hosts No. 7 Mercyhurst.

- Syracuse hosted Penn State for a pair last weekend to open league play.
- The Orange won the conference opener 3-1 before tying the Nittany Lions 2-2 on Saturday.
- 'Cuse won its conference opener for the second-straight season and fifth time in seven years.
- The Orange owned an 86-37 shots advantage on the weekend.

- This is the 30th meeting between the two programs, the most of any Syracuse opponent.
- The Lakers eliminated the Orange from the CHA playoffs in each of the past five seasons adding fuel to the conference rivalry.
- Last season, the Orange was 0-4-1 against the Lakers, but three of the four losses were decided by one goal.
