well it happened later rather than sooner. One of the better players getting hurt. But it is what it is and what it is is players get hurt in this sport. And it's no different here if one follows the injury situation at other schools.. Frankly I'm surprised it took this long to have someone go down. Really sucks for the kid though.

Absolute shame, I feel terrible for him. Somebody will fill in, such is life. But this kid has endured setback after setback and kept coming. Has never caught a break. Lesser men would've quit by now.

If he's out for the season, why does the team still list "lower body injury" as the reason? Can't they just spell out what happened? I mean, there is no strategic harm in releasing that info.

"Under HIPAA, personal health information can be provided to sports information staff or the media only with authorization from the athlete." ... don't know why an athlete aspiring to get to the NFL would want that information public ...
