Sad part was that it was actually pretty solid.. 3.8 is not awful but the constant 1 into 2 , 2 into 3, 3 into 4 just led to drives staying on the field.. need to finish tackles better. Not alot of gaping holes but also very few plays stood up for no gain

In some ways, this team is coming together through all the adversity. the offensive line is better. The run defense is better. The pass defense and kicking game are good. We have some weapons at receiver and haven't run out of good running backs. Our big problem right now is that our quarterback is a turnover machine.

yup.. the bad throwing decisions all have led to big plays the wrong way and took away any shots at staying in the games. He is doing all he can but it adds up in the end..

They bottled that running game up pretty good. Two games in a row against men at RB and they did a good job.

The 3rd down defense is what did them in. Had a lot of chances to force punts and just couldn't get it done. I see improvement though. Really hoping the seniors return next year.

CB - redshirt freshman
CB - redshirt junior
SS - true freshman

not being able to finish off the 3rd down pass D was really the game, especially early. Some good throws by the QB. But really what can we expect with kids that wouldnt be on the field at all without all the injuries. That blown coverage on the 80 yd play was the back breaker.

With all of the crazy QB back and forth recently, I guess people have forgotten that apparently we have the worst offensive line of all time and that's the #1 reason for the struggles of the entire team. The oline has been overall fine this year, to be honest. So much worse last year the first six games.

The broken play 80 yard TD followed up immediately by the pick 6 was a dagger followed up by a sword.

BC has all but abandoned the running game. They either use this week to work on it, or maybe they play into our strength and we hang around for awhile.

Tucker and Trill being active and healthy would go a long way.

Yes better but not good either . No push on short yardage , still to many free blitzes . It’s masked a bit by the interceptions those throw it to avoid sacks when nobody’s open are partly on the line and WRs it’s not all on Rex .
But yes the line is slightly better and Dakota should be full go by Louisville. This team has not quit and that’s what I was looking for that’s what you can build on .
