Damn right, we kept a close game with LSU with a Zack Mahoney as our QB. No one in the country is ever unbeatable. OSU losing to Indiana in the 4th.

In our first year in the ACC, we got waxed by Georgia Tech because we switched defenses in an attempt to deal with their unusual offense with disastrous results. Then we were crushed by the best Florida State team in years. Last year our offense was declawed by injuries and we had a bad record. It left many of with the idea that we would have trouble competing in this conference. But now we are in a more normal year and Syracuse is moving back toward respectability and we are realizing that we don't have to be scared of playing anybody.

I watched the Wake - FSU game and Wake gave them everything they could handle with a back-up quarterback. FSU had over 100 yards in penalties. Golson doesn't seem to be able to make a decision, even with good protection, the defense was getting to him. On defense they can be run on and are particularly susceptible over the middle.
Wake was within one touchdown and driving when they threw an interception in the endzone with 35 seconds left.
