This gets me to wondering .. As a kid playing the rule was the 5 sec count ended when the ball was touched not when it left the in bounders hand.

This is saying the NBA was doing this back in the 60s. Maybe with the shot clock the rule was different back in the day?

Meh. If a defensive coach doesn't want it to happen all he has to do is position one or two defensive players with a three quarter court pressure. End of discussion. Can't believe they keep stats on it.

I was hoping this was a yo-yo thread. I can do all of the basic tricks. I can also juggle. If I did magic, I would have the nerd-triad.
