Want to give credit where due- SU.COM writers

Not for anything, but if you open up to the media and let them get to know the players and stories on the roster, the more chances you have for "positive stories". Shutting them out and leaving them on their own to develop content, which they are going to do because it is their job, isn't a good approach.

If you remember Rahme had a good relationship w/ Marrone's staff, so that he would be told the game-plan heading into the contest. Then following the game, he could write about the success, or lack of success, of what the coaches were trying to do.

I hope people continue to give Bailey, Mink, and Carlson a chance instead of dismissing them as being overly negative.

Then you will be happy that we are going to have a chat with Bailey on 8/31. And I agree they have done a good job but you also have to realize that the SUAD has finally stepped up their game and are actually putting out a lot of great content.

I agree. I think the Drew Robinson hiring has been exactly the type of thing that many of talked about SU needing, when talking about ways to help football beyond coaching staff members. These are all great steps toward marketing and promotion of the program...now if we can just fix the whole merchandising aspect next.

I agree - but let's not act like there wasn't a reason the access got more and more limited. It's a two way street. One that needs to be tread carefully by both sides. SUAD understands the medias role - but I think saw a lot of the click bait negative slant headlines as over the top. I know I did.

But fair is fair - with the new AD (and Drew R) things seem to have gotten better all the way around.

Agree with this but quite honestly, if I had Michael Cohen as the beat reporter I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. And would be very reluctant to give him anything.
