Just got out of the stadium. Can someone tell me if the TV commentators answered why SS let the final 30 seconds tick and let UVA kick the chip shot FG with 2 seconds left.

I am going to say no more other than after we scored in the 2nd OT I kept yelling for us to go for 2. As our D was gassed and done.

I agree i thought that we should go for two as well. If we dont make it the D would know that they had to have a stop.

It's probably some crazy reason like he didn't want to give them time to think about going for it and was worried if they kicked the field goal anyway he was worried special teams would make a mistake and give Virginia the chance to win it at the end.

So your saying our HC was okay with a gassed D going into OT without giving his O a chance to go from the 25 with 30 seconds because he was worried about another mistake? Okay we may need a new HC then.

Maybe. I'm usually pretty good at figuring out how our coaches will respond to these questions. That was my best guess.

Only heard the 4th Q and OT on radio, haven't seen it yet. The announcers mentioned some defensive confusion on the 4th down play on the final UVA regulation drive. To those who saw it should SU have called a defensive TO there?
