[QUOTE="OburgCuse, post: 770442, member: 788"] Sorry to bump this month old thread, but I kind of laughed it off thinking it was more of an exaggeration until I had it happen to me this past weekend in the Dome also. I haven't been able to make it up to a game in the dome in a couple of years due to my schedule, so I've mostly hit up away games and bowl games. I like most on here sit for most of game and typically only stand for touchdown/big play, 3rd down situation, and/or people in front of me are standing requiring me to stand to see. I would have no problem standing whole game, but I understand others don't and try to respect that. So anyways for the Clemson game we were sitting lower level prob 15-18 rows up somewhat near the endzone/corner so would typically require a little more standing from our section than normal when the ball was on the other side of the field. I was with my father and brother and we were cheering like everybody else but not standing more than normal just reacting with the rest of the crowd. So early in the game during one of the 3rd downs (I believe it was one early where we called the TO on defense) a guy behind me tapped me on shoulder and was like can't you guys sit down (directed towards me and my brother). He was respectful but I was kind of blown away because everybody else was standing below me and the crowd was rocking pretty good. I turned around trying not to be a d#ck and was like "are you kidding me? It's 3rd down and long...get up and support your team." Keep in mind this was a guy who was prob late 40's at oldest and appeared to be in decent shape with about 3 or 4 other guys. He responded that he used to when he was my age but not really into it anymore or something like that. I wanted to say more but bit my lip and gave him a thumbs down and told him politely he stunk as a fan (this exchange wasn't heated we were half laughing and smiling as we spoke, but it was just rubbing me the wrong way totally thinking about this thread at that moment). His friend seemed to agree with me and was like "and he even played here." Well I respected his position for the remainder of the first half after I said my piece and tried to limit any unnecessary standing but still cheered my heart out. Funny thing is while watching the McPherson tribute on the big screen who do I see but this guy among the guys out there next to Don. I'm not sure who he was but thought it was kind of funny.
