Locals should watch it just because it was locally filmed. It was decent at best, and (if I'm not mistaken) Syracuse was never actually mentioned in the film. But it conveyed that sense of pushing on despite a depressing winter backdrop. In most years, the film would feel like an exaggeration in that regard - but not this past winter. And Cusack seemed to play that ornery Arty Nearly Middle Aged Westcott Flat Guy just about right.
