Watch ESPN now available for DirecTV

Content Providers > Distribution Providers. That is your TM Stock Tip of the Day

I don't know if it's dish or DTV but one of them now has a $20 streaming service that includes ESPN and possibly hbo, and just a few other channels. very close to the endgame in the content vs distribution war.

Sling TV (Dish product)

ESPN, TBS, TNT, HGTV, the Disney Channel, ABC Family, CNN, AMC with more to come.

This is awesome! Just installed watchespn on my tablet, used my directv login and BAM, it worked.

Yep, exactly what whitey posted.

This helps me tremendously as I have been abusing my fathers Time Warner credentials, lol.

Yup...I'm a few days away from cancelling.

Also, no reason ever to buy a Smart TV...just get a regular LED or Plasma

Yup, I've been thinking of doing the same. Where i live i can get an indoor antenna and get CBS, NBC, FOX and ABC in HD for free over the air.

I have a ROKU and Firestick now and if you sign up with Sling they give you another Roku or Firestick for free.

Nice

The best antenna supplier I found is www.solidsignal.com

Sign up for their daily deals.

My camp is 85 miles from the Syracuse TV Transmitters and I get the channels with this antenna and a pre-amplifier...of course being by the lake helps.

One thing to think about is ice though...I take my antenna down for the winter. Another camper bought my antenna and one of the black plastic things broke off from the winter. You might look at ice friendly designs or just be prepared to possibly order a replacement part.
