and seems that each ACC team, no matter how bad has a play maker receiver. 85 for UNC is a monster. We have Capanaro(sp?) again from Wake. FSU will just flood us.

Made me reflect, too. With all the bitching about our attendance, that isn't exactly a packed stadium. Unless I am seeing things wrong.

makes me wonder how Miami is a top 10 team..

To be fair, they did have one of their top receivers and Duke were injured in game. But I see what you mean. They ran roughshod over over some JV squads and were anointed. Seems Miami cache still carries with the pollsters.

Having been at the game, I'd say it was about 95% full. 55,ooo is no joke, particularly when you are starting out 1-4. And it was LOUD.

Miami is a legit top 20 team with Stephen Morris but they are slightly overrated at 10 which is fine and helps the ACC. North Carolina is a lot better than 1-5. Their QB was a stud last year, but the North Carolina defense has been terrible this year. I am glad the announcers and perception of Miami's win was positive. Beating North Carolina in a Zero Dark Thursday atmosphere wasn't easy. If the ACC can end the season with atleast 4 top 25 teams it will help the conference in the future.

Objectively the ACC is on the rise and the B1G is slogged in mediocrity.

Miami isn't garbage, but they're certainly not a top 10 team either. Probably more like 15-20, which is still good considering they were unranked to start the season.

This is nothing but good for the ACC though. Happens with teams from other conferences all the time. Thank God they pulled it out, that's the kind of game that's embarrassed the ACC every year.

If FSU beats Clemson, then that will be another mega-game for the ACC two weeks later when they host Miami. Possibly game day in Tallahassee, which would be the third visit to an ACC stadium in the season.

If FSU loses to Clemson, they'll have a decent chance to rehabilitate themselves with a drubbing of a top 10 team.

Or Miami could beat FSU and set up a huge showdown with a 1-loss VT game the very next week.

Overrated or not, it's perfect.
